Each week I listen to multiple television and radio interviews with Ventura. I pull quotes from these interviews and tie them together into written articles.
These articles cover every political topic Ventura's ever commented on, from the two-party system to 9-11. New articles are added roughly two times a week so check back often. Better yet, subscribe to this blog and add it to your bookmarks.
Since this blog is meant to promote Ventura's no-nonsense political views, I encourage you to share articles with your friends, post links to articles on your favorite message boards and discuss Ventura's views with others. If you're a blogger, feel free to re-post these articles on your own site.
I also encourage you to comment on each article. If I didn't want these articles to fuel discussion, I would've named this blog Jesse Ventura Preach instead of Jesse Ventura Talk.
Lastly, as many of you know, Jesse Ventura has hinted towards possibly running as an Independent Candidate in the Presidential Election of 2012. While this is great news, we all know Ventura doesn't stand a fighting chance unless we, his supporters, start mobilizing now.
Mobilization may take many forms, but one of its most basic, essential forms is getting the word out. That means you've got to talk with people. You've got to send emails to people. You've got to engage people.
Jesse Ventura's voice, despite the help of media and television, can only travel so far. He needs us, his supporters, to amplify that voice, to share his ideas with anyone and everyone. Only then, after each American's forced to confront the ugly-truth of U.S. politics, will we be able to make true, bona fide change.
